Best Anti-Wrinkle Treatments - Simple Tips on How to Find Them

anti wrinkles treatments

It seems to me that, in the world of anti wrinkle treatments, confusion rules the day.

What works? What doesn’t? Should I believe (Your favorite aging movie star here!)? Or, my personal favorite: “Is it better just because it costs more?”

So many questions! So few answers!

The fact is, though, that finding the best anti wrinkle treatments only requires the answer to one question! What type of ingredients must it contain to be the most effective?

To discover that, we must first explore the causes and conditions that created the wrinkles to begin with.

Collagen is a natural protein that aids your skin’s elasticity. Elastins are fibrous proteins that connect the cells from different skin layers together. As you grow older, especially after the age of 30, the natural aging process causes collagen levels to be depleted and elastins begin to get brittle. Eventually, your skin begins to lose it’s pliability and folds (wrinkles) begin to form along the ridges of your facial bones. Left unchecked, this will continue to get worse as you age further.

It follows, then, that the best anti wrinkle treatments are those that address these specific conditions. Modern science has discovered a number of compounds, both in nature and in the laboratory, that have been shown to help replenish collagen and help elastins regain their natural properties.

Since I am not a medical professional, I will not discuss medical options (face lifts, lasers, etc.) that are available. For what it’s worth, I don’t believe those options are the best way to go, anyway. Wrinkle formation is a natural process, and will be best treated with natural remedies.

When looking for the best anti wrinkle treatments, don’t rely solely on advertising. And, don’t always believe the “maturing” movie actress pitching her latest “miracle wrinkle cream”. These treatments may be the best thing since sliced bread, but, you can never be sure unless you know what to look for. At the end of the day, choose a treatment that contains:

* Ingredients that either replace collagen or stimulate natural collagen production in your skin cells. Some examples include Dermox SRC, Matrixyl, and Dimethylaminoethanol Bitartrate (DMAE).
* Ingredients that work to restore and repair elastins, such as Hyaluronic Acid.
* Anti-Oxidants to combat free radicals that form due to exposure to the sun (UV rays) and other environmental conditions. Examples include Vitamin A, Vitamin E, and Squalene.
* Effective moisturizers such as Evening Primrose Oil and Shea Butter, for obvious reasons.
* A skin tightener, again, for obvious reasons. One of the best is newly developed Pentacare NA, designed as a replacement for serum albumen, which works very well, but has been known to create other issues in some people.

And, never forget, for anti wrinkle treatments to be their most effective, you must do your part, as well. Never (EVER) go outside without sunscreen.

Nothing is more harmful to your skin than the sun’s UV rays. In addition, learn to give yourself a daily face massage. It will help to firm up the muscle tone in your face and neck, and increase blood flow to your skin. This will increase the amount of oxygen and nutrients available to your skin cells and speed up the effect of your anti wrinkle treatment.

You can learn more about facial massage by reading Wrinkle Free Skin, and, you can even print out a simple massage regimen that is linked to from the article.

As for anti wrinkle treatments, I highly recommend that you try the Revitol Skin Care System. It is a combination of three products that effectively do all of the things discussed here. It won’t get rid of your wrinkles overnight. Nothing will…not even surgery. But, I do know that it works for me, and, I’ll bet it will work for you, too.
